UCATSA - Keeping Faith, Doing Justice, Building Community

Are you new to university in 2008? Or maybe you just need a reminder about how to get in touch with a Uniting Church chaplain at your university?

There are Uniting Church chaplains and/or mission workers on most campuses in NSW and the ACT. A chaplain is a good person to visit if:

  • you're feeling homesick or lonely
  • you're new on campus and not sure where to go to find things out
  • you've been actively involved in a faith community elsewhere and want to know how to get involved at uni
  • you're wondering how your faith in God applies to decisions you need to make regarding study, career and vocation
  • you're wondering how a disciple of Jesus Christ engages with people from other faith traditions and cultures in a way that allows for mutual learning, respect and fellowship
  • you want to know what the Christian faith has to say about issues of politics, social justice and ethics
  • you want to read the Bible in a way that is real, informs your faith and engages with the issues you're struggling with
  • you want to speak about God with integrity in our secularised society
  • you are interested in being involved with a Christian Students Uniting / UCATSA group
